Kim Newton is Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Business Development at Hallmark, a global company with a diversified portfolio of businesses. In this role, she directly influences the global corporate strategy by advising on complex business issues and new opportunities.
Newton and her team work to maximize the potential of each business by working with business leaders to identify (or develop) their strategy, resolve strategic issues and identify new growth opportunities. In addition, she leads a business development function focused on building digital capabilities and strategic business alliances.
Newton has more than 20 years of experience in consumer marketing with expertise in consumer experience, enterprise transformation, strategic planning and new business development.
Newton has 15 years of non-profit board experience and currently serves on the Board of Notre Dame de Sion School, Giving the Basics and the Starlight Theatre. She is a Henry Crown Fellow within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute. She is also a member of The Links, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Newton holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Fisk University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.
