James Ray, Jr. is President of Global Industrial for the STANLEY Engineered Fastening business and an Executive Officer of Stanley Black & Decker. In this role, James has responsibility of the P&L for the fastening industrial business, which includes Cribmaster.

 

Ray has been with Stanley Black & Decker since 2013, when he joined as President for the Industrial & Automotive Repair business. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President & General Manager at TE Connectivity (formerly Tyco Electronics), where he was responsible for North and South America’s automotive connectivity business. His accomplishments included improved profitability of the business by 25% and improved quality performance by 38% versus the prior year.

 

Ray also has experience at Delphi Corporation as the Vice President of Driveline, Aftermarket and Corporate Affairs, as well as at General Motors Corporation as the Global Chief Engineer of the Steering Gears department. His results-oriented experience includes business turnaround execution, strategy development, customer relationship management, engineering, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and global business integration.

 

Ray holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Howard University and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University.
