Huntley Myrie is Senior Vice President of the Fuel and Motion Control Division of the Eaton Aerospace Group for Eaton. In this role, he is responsibile for the P&L for the global division and directly oversees a diverse set of functions, including sales, engineering, program management, operations, human resources and finance. He manages original equipment, aftermarket and new product development for Hydraulics, Fuel and Motion Control systems for numerous aircraft platforms, including Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Gulfstream.
Prior to Eaton, Myrie worked at General Electric, where his last role was President and General Manager of Middle River Aircraft Systems/Nacelle Products at GE Aviation. He was responsible for the overseeing total nacelle business profit and loss, driving product strategy execution and developing new nacelle systems.
Myrie also served as the Chairman of the Board, President and Director of Nexcelle, a 50/50 joint venture company between Safran’s Aircelle and GE’s Middle River Aircraft Systems developing new nacelles systems.
Myrie holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
