Hilton Romanski is Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Cisco. In this role, he is responsible for driving Cisco’s growth strategy through acquisitions, strategic partnerships, investments, co-development and innovation.

 

Romanski has led nearly $30 billion in acquisitions across more than 60 deals. He was the driving force behind many of the innovative financial structures and moves now represented in Cisco’s technology portfolio. He led Cisco’s $2.7 billion acquisition of publicly traded Sourcefire and $1.2 billion acquisition of Meraki, two of the most successful platform acquisitions in the company’s history.

 

More recently, Romanski structured Cisco’s strategic partnership with Apple and launched Cisco’s joint venture in China with domestic technology provider Inspur. He manages Cisco’s more than $2 billion venture capital investment portfolio with a focus on delivering financial return, fostering innovation and leading market transitions.

 

Romanski serves on Cisco’s Executive Leadership Team and is Chairman of Cisco’s China Board. Outside of Cisco, Romanski is a member of the Board of Directors of Technicolor.

 

Romanski holds a Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University.
