Gregory S. Nixon serves as DynCorp International’s Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary.
In this role, Nixon is responsible for global operations. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Navistar Defense Corporation and serves on the boards of Sparton Corporation and UMUC Ventures LLC. He is also an Executive Advisor of Tracker Capital Management LLC.
Nixon previously served as a Managing Director of Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company, the operational arm of Cerberus Capital Management.
Prior to Cerberus, Nixon was an executive at CH2M Hill Inc. while also serving on the Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company Board of Directors and the BlueLinx Holdings Inc. Board of Directors (NYSE BXC).
Nixon’s other experiences include executive positions at McKinsey & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton. He also was a commercial litigator at the international law firm of Howrey & Simon LLP.
Nixon serves on the Board of Trustees of Tuskegee University and is a decorated retired Air Force Officer (Lt. Colonel), and a licensed patent attorney.
Nixon has a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Tuskegee University.
