Derek Gordon is Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer for Colgate-Palmolive, where he provides leadership to ensure Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is embedded as essential components of our purpose, culture, and business practices.
Most recently, Derek was Vice President and General Manager, Global Toothbrush Division, where he forged a new strategy to focus on sustainable innovation and design for Colgate’s manual toothbrush business and preparing for the reentry into the powered toothbrush segment.
Prior to that, Derek was Vice President and General Manager, C-P Canada, where he led the organization to achieve record-high Toothpaste market shares and double-digit organic growth. Derek also turned around performance in the Dish Liquid category and advanced Colgate’s commercial capabilities in revenue growth management, customer engagement and in-store execution.
Derek joined C-P North America in 2012 as General Manager, U.S. Home Care. Previously Derek worked for 15 years in positions of increasing responsibility at The Clorox Company until he became North America President for its Armored AutoGroup.
Derek holds a B.S. degree in Business from the University of Wyoming and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
