Dawn D. Rock is Chief Compliance Officer for HealthSouth Corporation. Comprised of 122 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and 218 home health and hospice locations across 34 states and Puerto Rico. HealthSouth is one of the nation’s largest providers of post-acute healthcare services.
In this role, Rock is responsible for developing and refining strategies and practices to promote ethical behavior and compliance with federal and state healthcare program laws and regulations for HealthSouth’s workforce of more than 30,000 employees.
Rock recently joined the Advisory Board of Cumberland School of Law’s Health Law and Policy program. She is also a member of the American Heart Association’s Birmingham Multicultural Leadership Committee.
Rock formerly served on the Advisory Board for the Maryland OIG Program Integrity and Recovery Act Task Force, and on the Board of Directors of Families First in Atlanta, GA, where she co-chaired the Advocacy Committee.
Rock holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Juris Doctor and certification in Health Law from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law.
