Danielle Brown is Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Brunswick Corporation, a global leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of marine engines, recreational boats and fitness equipment. Brunswick’s 2017 revenue and sales were approximately $4.5 billion, and the 173-year-old Company has 15,000 employees around the world.
In this role, Brown is fashioning a world-class information technology function that creates value through the use of technology, while managing investment and operational spend to improve Brunswick’s connection to customers, operating efficiency and the organization’s ability to utilize analytics to provide a base for further innovation. She is a valued member of the Brunswick Senior Management Team, reporting to the Chairman and CEO.
Brown spent much of her career with DuPont. In her 16 years there, she held a series of information technology roles of increasing responsibility, including Asia Pacific Applications Delivery, where she lived in Singapore, and as Global Chief Information Officer for Crop Protection, a $3.2-billion DuPont Strategic Business Unit.
Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Information Systems, and a MBA from Pennsylvania State University and Drexel University.
