
Crysta Dungee is the Head of U.S. Region Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) for Takeda, a global values-based, R&D-driven biopharmaceutical leader, committed to discover and deliver life-trans-forming treatments.
As a DE&I thought-leader, Dungee is known for her values-driven and action-focused leadership, which centers on the individual and organizational capabilities required to sustain inclusive workplaces.
In 2022, Dungee was named Head of DE&I for the Takeda’s U.S. region, assuming responsibility for leading the DE&I strategic roadmap for approximately 20,000 employees across 10 business units. Over the expanse of her career, Dungee led the global DE&I learning and leadership development strategy for the Coca-Cola company.
She’s also driven and embedded DE&I programs at multinational organizations, such as Amazon Web Services and Sodexo, where she coached global executive teams, crafted data-informed DE&I strategies that advanced business priorities, and facilitated authentic dialogues to bridge cultural and societal gaps.
Dungee, a proud graduate of Hampton University, holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Education, as well as an MBA in Strategy and Management from Southern Methodist University.
