Christine A. Okike is a Partner in Kirkland & Ellis LLP’s Restructuring group. Christine represents debtors, creditors, equity holders, sponsors, investors, sellers, and purchasers in all stages of complex restructuring transactions, including prepackaged, prearranged, and traditional Chapter 11 cases, out-of-court workouts, distressed acquisitions, and cross-border proceedings.

Christine has a broad range of experience across a number of industries, including cryptocurrency, automotive, sports, entertainment, retail, energy, real estate, financial services, technology, transportation, travel, health care, media and telecommunications.

Christine was recognized in the 2023 edition of Chambers USA and was also recognized as a “Next Generation Partner” by The Legal 500 United States for Restructuring: Corporate, and Bloomberg Law recognized Christine in their 2023 “They’ve Got Next” series. Law360 selected Christine as one of six “Bankruptcy MVPs” for 2022. The Deal also selected Christine as one of its 2022 “Top Women in Dealmaking.” and Savoy recognized Christine as one of its 2022 “Most Influential Black Lawyers.”

Christine graduated from Brown University and Columbia Law School.
