Carole L. Brown is Head of Asset Management Group for The PNC Financial Services Group.
In this role, Brown is responsible for leading PNC’s wealth management and private banking services, as well as custom investment and advisory solutions for institutions.
Prior to joining PNC as Chief Change and Risk Officer for Asset Management Group and Corporate & Institutional Banking, Brown had served as chief financial officer for the City of Chicago.
Before entering public service in 2015, Brown had a 25-year career as one of the country’s leading municipal finance investment bankers. She served as chairman of the Chicago Transit Authority Board, overseeing policy for the nation’s second largest transportation agency.
Brown volunteers her time on the boards of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Metropolitan Planning Council and the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence. She is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago, The Executives’ Club of Chicago, The Chicago Network and The American Red Cross Board of Governors.
Brown graduated from Harvard College and Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
