Artis Brown is Vice-President of ExxonMobil’s Global Basestocks and Waxes business. He has held assignments across the U.S. and in Asia Pacific.

Artis has consistently demonstrated his ability to successfully run multi-billion dollar businesses.

Artis has nearly 28 years of experience having worked in engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, strategy, planning, and manufacturing.

In his previous role, Artis worked closely with the COO and the CEO’s leadership team in the areas of strategy development, external messaging, and Board of Directors communications.

Artis is passionate about helping others, and is highly sought out as a mentor and advisor. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and is a University of Alabama Distinguished Fellow. He is on the Capstone Engineering Society’s Board, ExxonMobil’s Black Employee Success Team’s Advisory Board, and Stillman College’s Board of Trustees.

Artis received a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the University of Memphis. Artis has received leadership certifications from Michigan’s Ross School of Business, Columbia University, Thunderbird, and the Kenan-Flagler Business School.
