Bruce E. Thompson is Vice President and Chief Separation Officer for Arconic.
In this role, Bruce is responsible for guiding Arconic’s separation strategy and driving efficient workplans to ensure a successful transition to two, world-class businesses.
Prior to his current role, Bruce held the position of Vice President of Internal Audit, where he was responsible for Arconic’s worldwide audit activities in the areas of Financial & Business Processes and Information Technology as well as Environmental, Health & Safety audit reporting.
Bruce joined Alcoa in 2011 as Director, Business Analysis and Planning and in 2014 was named Vice President, Business Analysis and Planning. In this position, Bruce oversaw Alcoa’s financial planning and analysis area, identifying and implementing improvements in business processes, systems and results.
Bruce serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Black MBA Association and as National Steering Committee Chairman of the Arconic African Heritage Network employee resource group. He also serves as a member of the Arconic Foundation Board of Directors.
