Angelique Strong Marks serves as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Cars Commerce, an audience-driven technology company empowering automotive that simplifies everything about buying and selling cars. The Cars Commerce platform includes the flagship automotive marketplace and dealer reputation site Cars.com.
In this role, Angelique is responsible for Cars Commerce’s legal corporate governance, compliance and information security and data privacy matters. Cars Commerce appointed Angelique to this role in April 2022.
Prior to joining Cars Commerce, Angelique served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at REE Automotive where she was part of the core team that successfully established REE as a publicly traded company. Angelique also served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer at MAHLE Industries and Behr America, global suppliers to the automotive industry.
Angelique serves on the Board of Directors of Shriver Center on Poverty Law, who lead the fight for economic and racial justice by litigating, shaping policy, and training and connecting people in the advocacy community.
Angelique holds a J.D. from the Ohio State University, a MBA from Miami University and a B.S. from the University of Akron.
