Ms. Slaughter is responsible for developing and supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce that integrates employees’ talents, perspectives, and experiences. She leads the development, implementation, management, monitoring, and evaluation of Fannie Mae’s corporate policies and programs as they relate to diversity and inclusion in the company’s workforce, workplace, and marketplace. She also ensures awareness of diversity and inclusion concepts and their integration across the organization through employee resource groups and supplier diversity initiatives, by educating and partnering with our lenders, and by continuing to build the company’s diversity learning strategy.
Slaughter serves as a member of the U.S. Corporate Council of Diversity, Arlington Arts Center – Executive member of Board DMV Diversity Council for D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, Advisory Board for Linkage, Women’s and Diversity Institutes and the Advisory Board for George Mason University Diversity Conference.
Slaughter has a Master of Science in Human Resource Management/Organizational Development from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Howard University.
