Vice President of Communications, Northrop Grumman Information Systems, Northrop Grumman Corporation

Ms. Janey leads the sector’s integrated communications activities, which include strategic communications, public and media relations, marketing communications, internal communications and executive communications for Northrop Grumman’s Information Systems (IS) sector.

Ms. Janey previously served as vice president, Operations, Civil Systems division, where she was responsible for helping achieve the division’s financial growth and operational objectives.

She was president of Civil Programs for Harris Corporation where she successfully grew the Civil Programs sales and increased returns while supporting customer agencies and programs.

She has 30 years of industry and leadership experience.

Ms. Janey serves on the executive advisory board of the Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority and TechAmerica Public Sector board of directors. She is a recipient of the Career Communications Group’s Women of Color Technology and the Business President’s Award.

Janey earned her bachelor’s degree in design from Carnegie Mellon University and has done postgraduate study at the University of Pittsburgh and the Darden School of the University of Virginia.
