General Manager for Microsoft North American Human Resources, Microsoft
Ms. Gardner is responsible for providing HR leadership needed to support and grow Microsoft’s largest Sales and Marketing subsidiary. In partnership with the business and HR leadership teams the team’s responsibility areas include: staffing, HR business partners, people and organizational capability experts, and diversity functions.
Lauren has been part of the MSNA (Microsoft North America Sales and Marketing) since 2007 and is currently responsible for leading the Human Resources function to drive the talent acquisition, leadership and management development plans, culture work, employee advocacy and development efforts. Prior to her current position, Gardner served in several HR management and leadership roles for the Entertainment and Devices Division (E&D).
Gardner is a supporter of Seattle’s Childrens Hospital, the Odessa Brown Clinic (supporting children with sickle disease like her daughter Melissa), the Boys and Girls Club, as well as Hopelink.
Gardner holds a B.S. in Psychology and an MBA with an emphasis in HR from the University of Washington.
