PwC welcomes Victoria Russell, serving as the firm’s Managing Director, Inclusion Strategy Leader. Victoria brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished career spanning over 20 years across various disciplines, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Crisis Management & Brand Reputation, Marketing, Data & Insights, Community Engagement, Human Resources, and Compensation.
In her new role at PwC, Victoria will oversee efforts that foster an inclusive environment and drive equity across all areas of talent strategy, from talent attraction, development, progression, and pathway to partnership. Leveraging data-driven insights, Victoria will work closely with the firm’s Lines of Service to take strategic actions along PwC’s people career journey to enhance outcomes and further strengthen its culture of care and belonging.
Before joining the firm, Victoria served as the first Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Beam Suntory, a world leader in premium spirits. During her tenure, she led diversity and inclusion initiatives across talent acquisition, career development, employee retention, marketing, and community relations. She was instrumental in building organizational capability to recognize bias and drive an inclusive mindset. In addition, she supported the development of diversity guidelines for the company’s supplier base and championed Employee Impact Groups and leaders across the business.
Victoria also led a successful 14-year career at Papa John’s International, where she became the first to lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion during challenging times in 2018. She played a key role in transforming the company’s actions to build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization.
Prior to DEI, Victoria held marketing analytics roles of increasing responsibility, providing valuable insights into the business, customers, and communities they serve. Her earlier career included compensation and marketing roles at Lexmark, Humana, and Brown-Forman.
Victoria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Kentucky.
