Valentino D. Carlotti is a Partner at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. where he is the head of the Sales & Trading Division’s Institutional Client Group focused on covering major accounts of the division. Prior to this role, Valentino was President of the Goldman Sachs Brazil Bank from 2007 to 2012, where he was credited with leading Goldman’s growth strategy in Brazil. Carlotti joined Goldman in 1994 in its Investment Banking Division as a banker covering the telecommunications and media sectors. Later, he moved to the Equities Division as an institutional salesman covering Hedge Funds and Asset Managers before taking on several senior management roles and responsibilities.
Carlotti serves as a board member on the Board of Trustees of American Ballet Theatre, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Lincoln Center Corporate Fund, Studio Museum in Harlem, Prep for Prep, The Boys Club of New York and The Carter Burden Center for the Aging.
Carlotti holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and a MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
