Brannigan C. Thompson is Senior Vice President and Head of Strategic Organizational Development for Voya Financial. In this role, his responsibilities include: corporate development, organizational development, workforce planning, analysis and reporting; and talent management, executive succession planning and leadership/talent development.
Thompson also serves as a member of the Leadership Council (Voya’s top executives), supporting the CEO, CHRO, COO and CFO with business and advisory counsel.
Thompson’s previous experience includes three years in ING Group’s Global Executive Development program in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and London. His primary tasks consisted of designing a new Executive Rewards strategy and organization structure for ING Group’s Executive Board members, re-designing the company’s Global Long-Term Incentive plan.
Thompson serves on the boards and/or steering committees for a number of organizations, including 100 Black Men of Atlanta (Executive Board), UNICEF (Vice Chairman), UNCF (Executive Leadership Committee) and Junior Achievement of Georgia.
Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance (Honors) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
