William Bagley is Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Officer for Unum. In this role, he initially focused on establishing a Procurement Center of Excellence to ensure consistent results across the enterprise and has evolved to encompass all Unum business units that have responsibility for procurement and supplier management, including Document Management Operations, Real Estate Management and Corporate Aviation business services in the newly formed Supply Management organization.
Bagley is leading the charge to define and execute Unum’s supplier strategy at an enterprise level to maximize the value Unum receives from their suppliers.
Prior to joining Unum, Bagley held senior leadership positions with Philips Healthcare, Aligent Technologies and Hewlett Packard, where he served in roles of Vice President of Supply Management, CEO Change Management Program, and Vice President of Outsourcing and Supply Management.
Bagley serves on the Board of the Bessie Smith Cultural Center. He is a member of the Hacket Group Advisory Council and My Purchasing Center, where he serves on the Editorial Advisory Board.
Bagley holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
