Southern California Minority Business Development Council Selects Walton Isaacson as Supplier of the Year For Fourth Time in Five Years

by LP Green, II

For an unprecedented fourth time in five years, Walton Isaacson (WI), an independently held, minority owned, full-service advertising and marketing agency, has been named “Supplier of the Year” by the Southern California Minority Business Development Council (scmbdc.org).

The Council presents this prestigious honor in celebration of outstanding Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and their partnerships with member corporations, as judged in four categories: growth and development; employment and job creation; high-quality operations and business performance; and procurement spending, mentoring and other assistance to MBEs.

“We are extremely honored and proud to once again receive this important recognition,” said Aaron Walton, WI cofounder (http://www.waltonisaacson.com).  “Achieving this status for the fourth time in five years reflects our ongoing commitment to provide meaningful contributions that help other MBEs.  Giving back in a tangible way has always been in our DNA, and we believe both the community at large and our business in particular will continue to benefit from the success of other MBEs.”

Key to WI’s win was its nomination by Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc., which oversees domestic sales, marketing and distribution of the Lexus brand.  In addition to working with a diverse supplier base of MBEs for the client, the agency was instrumental in the formation of Lexus’ award-winning Black, Hispanic & LGBT strategies.  Walton Isaacson is agency of record for Lexus advertising and marketing to those consumer segments.
