Richard D. Winston, Jr. serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Fike Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer of products that protect people and assets from the dangers of fire, explosions and over-pressurization. Winston has responsibility for legal, regulatory, compliance and governance affairs.
Winston also manages global enterprise risk for Fike Corporation and its subsidiaries. Winston leads a team at Fike, manages outside counsel, litigation, international trade, M&A, employment matters and intellectual property including trademarks, patents and licensing.
Prior to joining Fike, Winston served as a Senior Counsel with Koch Industries, Inc., a privately held company with $115 billion annual revenue. He also had previous general counsel assignments at subsidiaries of the General Electric Company.
Winston has over 20 years of legal and business experience, advising corporate executives and Boards of Directors in a wide variety of legal and commercial matters.
Winston currently serves on the Board of the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Greater Kansas City. He is a licensed member of the CO, DC, GA and MO Bars.
Winston received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Michigan and a Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt Law School.
