John D. Harris II is Vice President of Business Development for Raytheon Company, and Chief Executive Officer of Raytheon International, Inc. Raytheon Company, with 2018 sales of $27 billion and 67,000 employees, is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, civil government and cybersecurity solutions.

Harris is responsible for worldwide sales and marketing, Raytheon’s international business, and its government relations and operations, and is responsible for developing and leading the execution of Raytheon’s business strategy.

Previously, Harris was General Manager of Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations of the business. Prior to this, he served as President of Raytheon Technical Services Company.

Over a 35-year-plus career with Raytheon, he has held many other positions, including Vice President of Contracts and Supply Chain, vice president of Contracts for Raytheon’s defense businesses, Vice President of Operations and Contracts for Raytheon’s former Electronic Systems business, and Staff Executive to the Raytheon Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Harris received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in finance and operations, from Boston University.
