Chad Walker is the Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Morton Salt, Inc. In this role, he serves as Chief Legal Counsel responsible for leading Morton Salt’s Legal function across all businesses and operations in the U.S., Canada and the Bahamas.
Walker also serves as Chief Compliance Offi cer for Morton Salt, Inc. In addition to managing Morton’s legal and compliance functions, he is also responsible for government relations, corporate offi ce services and real estate.
Walker joined Morton Salt from McDonald’s Corporation, where he most recently served as Assistant U.S. General Counsel. In this role, he oversaw the negotiation of leases and the acquisition of real estate for the construction and rebuilding of new McDonald’s restaurants across the U.S.
Walker also served as primary counsel to regional leadership for all legal matters relating to franchising, operations, real estate development, compliance, contracts and many other areas that impacted the McDonald’s business.
Walker holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisville, where he was a member of the Cardinals football team.
