Zendesk appoints Shana Simmons as Chief Legal Officer

Everlaw and Google veteran will help Zendesk navigate its next growth phase

Zendesk today announced Shana Simmons has joined the company as its Chief Legal Officer. Simmons will oversee all of Zendesk’s legal functions, providing counsel on the company’s strategic initiatives and steering corporate governance.

Simmons joins Zendesk with over 15 years of experience as a strategic leader in high-growth companies. She recently served as the Chief Legal Officer at Everlaw, a provider of cloud-based ediscovery solutions for legal teams, where she built the legal team and guided the company’s strategic growth while managing risk. Before Everlaw, she was the Head of Go-To-Market Legal at Google Cloud, contributing to the company’s global market expansion.
