Wieden+Kennedy brings back Jason White to lead the Portland office as President.

Wieden+Kennedy is an independent, global creative company that has built and transformed some of the world’s most well known, exciting brands for over forty years. Offering world class creative, media, social, design and strategy operations, W+K is driven by a core mission—use creativity and influence to change the world and impact culture.

Early in his career, White spent over eight years with Wieden+Kennedy as a director for Nike account, as well as serving as the managing director at the Shanghai office. He left Wieden + Kennedy to work on the brand side serving in key marketing roles for Apple, Beats by Dre, cannabis company Curaleaf, MTV Entertainment and Fanatics.

“I was fortunate to work at Wieden + Kennedy for almost 9 years. I’ve been a client for almost 10. In those 10 years I have tried to be a student. I learned from amazing athletes, creators, musicians, engineers and entrepreneurs. I’ve had successes and I’ve certainly had failures,” said White.

“Through it all I have always been drawn to unlocking the creative voice that lives in a brand. That’s not easy. It takes courageous clients and courageous creatives. Now it’s time to go home. Because no one cares more than the folks that taught me how to #failharder. If you want to know what that means, give Azsa West, Felipe Ribeiro or me a call.”
