Disruptive Multimedia founder and serial entrepreneur Ryan Leslie will address the World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WSIE) in an exclusive talk on “Re-shaping the Artist-Fan Experience” on September 29, 2014 at the famous Copacabana in New York.
“By restructuring the connection between artists and fans, we can empower the music and entertainment industries,” said Leslie. “Technology has the potential to change lives, and artists should have access to that power without intermediary roadblocks.”
Held in partnership with the United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP), the Summit experience redefines connections between industry leaders to empower collaborative ingenuity and create unlikely intersections between business, science, art, and technology that spark enterprise and social transformations.
The purpose of the two-day Summit, themed “The Innovation Trilemma,” is to use creativity as a catalyst for business growth, mobility as a transformation tool, and livability as a driver for sustainable products, spaces, and experiences.
“Music is a unifying language that helps us open the windows to better global understanding and unlock the doors to smarter solutions that write the future,” said Sam Hamdan, Executive Chairman and Curator of the WSIE. “Ryan’s participation illustrates our commitment to inspire collaborative connections that shape the future of our societies.”
The 2014 all-star lineup of over 70 speakers also features Coca-Cola’s Chief Innovation Officer, 3M’s Head of International R&D, CERN’s Higgs boson discoverer, Nest’s Co-Founder and Chief Engineer, Baidu’s Chief Scientist, NASA’s Innovation and Integration Lead, Nanobiosym’s XPRIZE winner, Blackstone’s Head of Innovations, and Indiegogo’s Co-Founder.
