Rochester Regional Health System appoints Lonie Haynes, DLP as Senior Vice President, Chief Diversity, Health Equity, Inclusion & Justice Officer.
Dr. Haynes is a nationally recognized leader in reducing health disparities through healthcare workforce diversity. He is an Adjunct Professor of public policy at Georgetown University, and the Founding Partner and Managing Principal of RD Consultancy. This global firm guides organizations on cultural competency and D&I transformation. Dr. Haynes has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at AmerisourceBergen, a Fortune 10 global company, and as Chief Diversity Officer at Highmark Health, the second-largest integrated health delivery and financing network in the nation.
Dr. Haynes holds a Doctorate in Law and Policy (DLP) from Northeastern University; a master’s degree in public administration from Baruch College at City University of New York; a master’s in management from Boston University; and a bachelor’s in political science from Excelsior College at the State University of New York. He is a PMP® Certified Project Manager and expert in Six Sigma Lean, Six Sigma Greenbelt, and statistical forecasting and measurement. Dr. Haynes is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and serves on the board of the American Association of People with Disabilities. He also is a U.S. Army veteran.
