Ms. Mims is responsible for creating a corporate philanthropy and multicultural affairs strategy focusing on children’s education, financial literacy, outreach to diverse communities, and environmental sustainability for ING Americas.

Prior to her current role, Mims was a member of ING’s External Affairs team. She served as ING U.S. Political Action Committee treasurer, ethics officer, and conducted government affairs for some of the mid-western states and the City of Atlanta.

Mims currently serves as a Trustee member for America’s Promise, an organization founded by Colin Powell, on the board of directors for The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Woodruff Arts Center and is an Executive Leadership Council member. She is a 2007 Leadership Atlanta Graduate. PR News honored her as one of their “2008 Corporate Social Responsibility Executives of the Year.” Mims received her Bachelor’s degree and her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina.
