Phillips 66 Appoints Andrez Carberry Senior Vice President & Human Resources Officer

Andrez Carberry is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer to Phillips 66, a diversified energy company. He has extensive experience in human resources, labor and employment law, corporate social responsibility (ESG), risk management, compliance and litigation across several industries.

Before assuming his current role in September 2023, Carberry led a global team of 1,200 HR, labor relations and business partners supporting all business units at 150 locations. While at Deere, he was responsible for several HR practice areas including Talent Acquisition; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Strategy; Compliance; Data and Insights; and Technology. He was also the Global Head of HR for Deere’s $30B Ag & Turf Division and 30,000 employees.

Prior to joining Deere, Carberry served in several other roles: Chief Region Counsel at US Foods, and Chief Counsel of Global Labor & Employment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Compliance Director, N.A. at Avon Products, Inc.

Carberry began his legal career as Assistant Corporation Counsel, Labor & Employment Law Division for the City of New York before serving as Senior Litigation and Labor & Employment Associate for Rox Rothschild LLP.

Carberry holds a Juris Doctorate for Hofstra University School of Law and earned his M.A. in Policy Analysis and his B.A. in Political Science from Stony Brook University (SUNY).
