Julia M. Brown will join the board in January next year, and will serve on its people and remuneration committees.
Online grocery retailer Ocado Group Plc has announced the appointment of Julia M Brown as an independent non-executive director. She will also be a member of the people committee and the remuneration committee when she joins.
Brown was chief procurement officer of Mars Wrigley, a division of Mars, until 2021, and prior to this she held senior roles at Carnival Corporation, Mondelēz International, Kraft Foods, Gillette and Diageo.
Brown is a non-executive director of The Honest Company and Molson Coors Beverage Company. She also serves on the board of trustees of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

Tim Steiner, Ocado’s CEO, added that her “breadth of business experience, and her deep understanding of the North American consumer in particular, will be hugely valuable to us”.
