Nicole Hughey was named Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion at SiriusXM + Pandora.
Prior to SiriusXM + Pandora, Nicole served as the Senior Director, Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Partners HealthCare.
Nicole’s D&I work spans more than a decade and several organizations. Over the course of her career, she has been most proud of building D&I strategies and initiatives from the ground up. Successful initiatives include Diversity Speaks, an employee engagement series that cultivates a work environment that honors differences and promotes conversation.
Nicole believes a solid D&I foundation must be anchored in strong elements of accountability at the leader and staff levels. She developed and implemented a number of inclusive leadership tools to build leadership capability and instill accountability. The tools help leaders hold transparent and courageous conversations with employees about internal and external cultural influences impacting the employee experience and business opportunities.
Nicole serves as a Board Member on the Hartford Guide Editorial Board, Capital Region Development Authority and as Vice Chair, Board of Directors for the Urban League of Greater Hartford.
Nicole holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Hartford.
