His exceptional contributions have defined DK’s remarkable career trajectory as an executive, public speaker, influencer, and advocate for DEI and Talent Acquisition. He has consistently demonstrated a profound ability to inspire and transform corporations globally. His impact has been felt across a range of corporate domains, from Wall Street and Madison Avenue to Seventh Avenue and Silicon Valley.

As the Global Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Hill & Knowlton, a distinguished member of the WPP family of companies, Mr. Bartley plays a pivotal role in weaving DEI principles into every facet of the organization. His responsibilities include driving advancement in client relationships, employee engagement, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, and overall business priorities. His tenure at Hill & Knowlton underscores his unparalleled expertise in catalyzing positive change.

Prior to his role at Hill & Knowlton, Mr. Bartley served as the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at Moody’s, where he led the implementation of DE&I as a business imperative. Under his leadership, Moody’s achieved remarkable strides in fostering diversity across its pipeline, exceeding publicized goals and metrics. This transformative effort led to Moody’s being lauded as an industry exemplar, receiving numerous DE&I awards and recognitions.

Mr. Bartley’s distinguished career also encompasses roles as Senior Vice President & Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Dentsu International, where he revitalized talent acquisition strategies for prominent clients such as Microsoft, American Express, Procter & Gamble, Mastercard, Facebook, Jaguar Land Rover, and LVMH. He spearheaded the strategic hiring of diverse advertising professionals for Microsoft, driving significant revenue growth.

He serves as an advisor to the New York Climate Exchange, contributing to climate change research, and holds significant roles in global DEI organizations such as Education Africa and The Executive Leadership Council.

DK’s educational achievements include a master’s degree in communications from the New York Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stony Brook University, and a Diversity & Inclusion Management certification from Cornell University ILR.
