Michelle Obama is on Instagram!
We’re so excited we can barely tap our touchscreens fast enough. The first lady’s account, @michelleobama, is officially up and running, although there are no photos uploaded yet. As of this moment, Michelle has 69 followers and is following just one Instagram user: @whitehouse.
It was through the White House’s brand new Instagram account that we discovered Michelle’s: @whitehouse tagged @michelleobama in its first photo today, a shot of the first family taking off in Marine One. (Their filter of choice was Earlybird, in case you were wondering.)
Much as we like scenic shots of the White House lawn, we’re more psyched at the prospect of Michelle’s photos. Just think of the arm parties! With a wardrobe full of color and a penchant for statement accessories, the first lady is the perfect candidate for a rocking, fashion-filled Instagram account.
Unfortunately, we doubt we’ll be seeing any selfies.
