Megan Hogan has been named chief diversity officer of Goldman Sachs.  In this role, Megan will be responsible for the firm’s global diversity and inclusion strategy, with a focus on driving progress towards our aspirational goals, further enhancing the firm’s position as an employer of choice for diverse professionals, and evolving our approach to client engagement.

As chief diversity officer, Megan will also oversee all firmwide programming focused on the development, retention and promotion of diverse professionals, including initiatives and events organized by the global Inclusion Networks, and manage the firm’s external partnerships with organizations focused on promoting inclusion and diversity.

Megan will continue to serve as chief operating officer of the Global Inclusion and Diversity Committee (GIDC), and in that capacity will work closely with leaders across the firm to help advise on firmwide, divisional and regional inclusion and diversity priorities.

Megan has already played a critical role in developing and implementing some of the firm’s most important inclusion and diversity initiatives, including the announcement of our firmwide aspirational goals, the launch of the Neurodiversity Hiring Initiative, and the recent expansion of the firm’s commitment to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2014.

Megan Hogan’s wealth of experience, thought leadership and exceptional track record position her well for this role, and I look forward to partnering with her as she assumes her important new responsibilities,” said Bentley de Beyer, Global Head of Human Capital Management, Goldman Sachs.
