Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) announced that it has named Glenton Davis Head of Corporate Strategy. Davis reports to Betsy Ward, MassMutual’s Chief Financial Officer.
In his new role, Davis is responsible for leading corporate strategy and customer and market intelligence. He will also focus on client and business partner engagement, working closely with leaders across the organization to help maximize MassMutual’s long-term performance.
“Glenton’s breadth of experience in the strategy and transformation space will add both value and depth to our business strategy and planning process,” said Ward. “With a proven ability to create connectivity and drive collaboration, Glenton will be instrumental in helping differentiate MassMutual from key competitors through the monitoring of global industries, markets, opportunities and trends – all in support of our purpose of helping people secure their future and protect the ones they love.”
Glenton joins MassMutual from Cboe Global Markets, where he was a Senior Director, Global Head of Strategic Partnerships, and responsible for building this function from the ground up. As an innovative strategist, his insight and leadership has helped firms like Microsoft, RSR Partners, and JP Morgan Chase successfully pursue and address a wide array of organic and strategic business opportunities. He has also supported large-scale transformation programs, product creation and go-to-market strategies, business development and more.
