U.S. Bank has promoted Greg Cunningham to Senior Executive Vice President.
The company also has decided to elevate its approach to diversity, equity and inclusion, making its Chief Diversity Officer role a direct report of the chairman, president and CEO. Cunningham will continue to serve as Chief Diversity Officer, reporting to Andy Cecere, U.S. Bank Chairman, President and CEO, effective immediately.
Cunningham will also serve on the company’s managing committee.
Cunningham joined the company in 2015, and his personal mission is to make diversity and inclusion a business imperative. He worked in community relations and marketing for 16 years at Target.
Cunningham holds a master’s of business administration degree from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree from Clark Atlanta University. He is national board member of the UNCF.
