William H. Osborne retired from The Boeing Company in 2022. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Total Quality and Operations for Boeing Defense, Space & Security, one of Boeing’s three business units.
In this role, Osborne led Boeing’s Manufacturing Council from 2020 to 2022, at which time he also served on the Boeing Executive Council. Earlier in his tenure, he served as senior vice president of Enterprise operations.
Before Boeing, Osborne held various titles at Navistar, Inc., including senior vice president of global manufacturing and quality, senior vice president of custom products, and corporate director.
From 2008 to 2010, Osborne served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Federal Signal Corporation.
Osborne earned his MBA from the University of Chicago. He holds an M.S. degree in Engineering from Wayne State University and a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
