Howard Morris is the President and Chief Investment Officer of The Prairie & Tireman Group in Detroit, MI. In this role, Morris brings over three decades of professional experience in public finance, academia, investing for institutions, corporate finance and public accounting.
Prior to his current role, Morris was a former Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Comerica Bank, the former Emergency Financial Manager of the Inkster Public School District in Inkster, MI., the former Chief Financial Officer of the Detroit Public School District and the former President & Chief Investment Officer of WILMOCO Capital Management.
Morris is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Morris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northwood University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
