Vinita Clements is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Nationwide, a Fortune 100 financial services company with 25,000 associates.
In this role, she provides strategic and operational leadership for the company’s overall Human Resources strategy, ensuring Nationwide has the talent to deliver on its mission. Under her leadership, the company continues to be recognized for its strong and engaging culture, workforce of the future, performance orientation and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Clements is a strong advocate and sought-after leader – actively influencing organizational change by pioneering the workplace of the future and evolving the associate experience. She is active in the community supporting programs focused on arts and education and currently serves as a board trustee for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, board trustee for the Columbus Urban League, and on the advisory boards for Catalyst, The Ohio State University Fisher Leadership Initiative Corporate Advisory Council, and previously, the Ohio Foundation for Independent Colleges.
Clements is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and the Senior HR Executives Council.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Wright State University.
