Vernon Irvin is President of Local Government, Medium and Small Business Markets for CenturyLink. Before joining CenturyLink, he led the Midwest Sales and Marketing team at Time Warner Cable.

 

Prior to Time Warner, Irvin led SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s marketing efforts as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, with responsibility for setting the company’s overall strategic direction and driving growth.

 

Irvin joined SiriusXM from VeriSign, where he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for the company’s communications services group, with revenues of $1 billion and more than 2,000 employees in 19 countries. While there, he oversaw sales, marketing, media and advertising, product management, strategic development and network operations.

 

Irvin also held an international executive position based in London for British Telecommunications, where he led the worldwide $1 billion applications infrastructure management business, with more than 2,000 employees focused on the global satellite content distribution business and global hosting centers.

 

Irvin is currently on the boards of Denver Mile High United Way, Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Denver Partnership. He holds a Bachelor’s in Information Science from the University of Cincinnati.
