Vanessa Jackson is a Partner in Davis Polk’s Finance practice in New York. Her practice focuses on the representation of financial institutions and corporate borrowers in a broad range of corporate finance transactions, including leveraged and investment-grade acquisition financings, asset-based credit facilities, debt restructurings, spinoffs, working capital financings, debtor-in-possession financings, exit financings, and other secured and unsecured financings.

In 2021, Vanessa was named among Crain’s New York Business’ “Notable Women in Law” and was shortlisted for IFLR1000’s “United States Lawyer of the Year: Banking” award.

After earning her B.S. from Duke University, Jackson graduated from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and Managing Editor of the Columbia Journal of Race and Law. She was elected to Davis Polk’s partnership in 2019.
