Tyronne Stoudemire is the Senior Vice President of Diversity Equity & Inclusion for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a global hospitality company.

In this role, Stoudemire collaborates with the senior leadership team to implement culture, talent, and marketplace strategies that leverage diversity and inclusion, globally growing the enterprise across brand portfolios.

At Hyatt, DE&I is embedded in every part of the business and is the manifestation of the company’s purpose–to care for people so they can be their best. Hyatt is committed to ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion is reflected across actions and behaviors, policies and procedures, workplace environment, and culture, including their Change Starts Here commitments.  These commitments outline key DE&I goals around (i) who we employ, develop,  and advance, (ii) who we support, and (iii) who we buy from and partner with. Hyatt has set a goal to double representation for Women and POC groups respectively in key leadership roles, which includes doubling the representation of Black leaders, by 2025 (compared with 2020).

Stoudemire is an adjunct professor at Kellogg School of Management. Gov. JB Pritzker appointed Stoudemire to Chicago State University Working Group to Create an Equity Agenda for Black College Students in Illinois.

Most recently, Stoudemire was appointed to serve on American Airlines’ founding Diversity and Equity Community Council focusing on Black travelers.

Stoudemire holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University.
