Tyree P. Jones, Jr. is a Partner at Reed Smith where he chairs the Global Labor and Employment Group. He is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and a member of the Audit and Innovation and Strategy Committees.
Jones is a trial lawyer with over 30 years of experience litigating complex commercial disputes alleging civil rights violations in the consumer finance, employment, housing, and information management sectors. His national practice spans an array of industries including transportation, financial services, healthcare and defense contracting.
Jones also serves as a leading member of the Reed Smith’s global environmental, social and governance practice which guides clients through the challenges posed by climate change, racial justice, and the impact of a global pandemic.
Jones has served as the Board Chair of the San Francisco Suicide Prevention Society, Wiley Manuel Law Foundation and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Georgetown University as Chair of its Law Center Affairs Committee and serves on its Audit Committee. Tyree is a member of the Board of Trustees of Bowdoin College.
Jones received his J.D. from Georgetown University and his B.A. from Bowdoin College.
