Troy Vincent, Sr. is Executive Vice President, Football Operations for the National Football League.
Vincent’s position is uniquely informed by his previous roles as an NFL player, a player’s union President, and as Senior Vice President of Player Engagement. A transformational leader, he promotes using the game of football to positively impact people’s lives through excellence and service.
Vincent’s responsibilities include Officiating, Football Administration and Club Services, Policy and Compliance, Marketing and Communications, College Relations, Strategic Development, Game Initiatives and Player Engagement.
Vincent champions the character and leadership values contributed by football to society. He is the only player in history to have received the “NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year” Award, NFL Players Association “Byron ‘Whizzer’ White” Award, “Sporting News #1 Good Guy”, and “NFL Athletes in Action Bart Starr” Award.
He also has received the Big 10’s Ford Kinnick Leadership Award, the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award, and the prestigious Jefferson Award.
Vincent holds a Bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State College and several advanced degree certificates From Wharton, Harvard, Stanford & Northwestern.
