Troy Datcher is Vice President of Sales and Sales Planning for The Clorox Company. In this role, he is responsible for the development and deployment of business and initiative plans to support approximately 80% of the Domestic U.S. business. This includes plans for household brands Glad, Hidden Valley, Brita, Pine-Sol, Kingsford and the company’s namesake, Clorox, which account for $4 billion in sales annually.
Prior to his current role, Datcher was Vice President – Global Customer Capability Development and Sports Marketing at The Clorox Company. He leveraged his passion for sports marketing to provide strategic direction and management of Clorox’s multimillion-dollar annual MLB, NASCAR, NBA, NFL and College Football investments.
Datcher followed his new passion for NASCAR in 2006, when he served as Sponsorship and Marketing Director for the famed #21 Wood Brothers and JTG/Daugherty Racing. In this role, he was responsible for more than $20 million in annual sponsorship revenue.
Datcher serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Gettysburg College and is the Chairperson for the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He also serves as a Board Member of the Clorox Foundation.
Datcher holds a Bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College.
