Tonit M. Calaway serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary for BorgWarner Inc.
In this role, Calaway oversees the global legal function, security, facilities, sustainability, environment and aviation.
Previously, Calaway served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, where she managed all aspects of human resources for employees around the globe.
Before joining BorgWarner, Calaway held various positions during her 18-year career at Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She served as President of The Harley-Davidson Foundation and Vice President of Human Resources. Calaway currently serves on the Board of Directors of Astronics Corporation and the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum.
Calaway is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
