Todd Walthall serves as Chief Growth Officer at Optum Health, a leading health solution and care delivery company.
Prior to Optum, Walthall was Chief Operating Officer at Blue Shield of California, a 4-million-member nonprofit health plan that serves the state’s commercial, individual, and government markets. As COO, Walthall leads sales, marketing and customer experience, positioning Blue Shield to drive health reform and serve more members.
Walthall joined Blue Shield as Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, where he led all aspects of business operations, from enrollment to claims processing, and the teams responsible for delivering customer service to members.
Walthall is a member of several Boards, including California Association of Health Plans, AUGUST. CO, and Coaching Corporation, which uses sport to inspire kids in the community to reach their full potential.
Walthall holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Emmanuel College.
