Thomas K. Brown was Group Vice President of Global Purchasing for Ford Motor Company, a global automotive industry leader. Brown held a number of key leadership positions with increasing responsibilities with Ford Motor Company before his retirement in 2013. Brown held a number of senior leadership positions within the global automotive industry leader. When Brown became Ford’s Group Vice President, Global Purchasing, he had responsibility for approximately $90 billion of production and non-production procurement for Ford operations worldwide. Brown joined Ford in July 1999 from United Technologies Automotive, where Brown was Vice President of Supply Management.
In 2008, Rainbow/PUSH honored Brown with the “Keep Hope Alive” Award, and in 2006, Brown received the National Action Network’s “Keeper of the Dream” Award. Brown is active with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan.
Brown holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from American International College.
